Matt is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Fusion Capital Partners. He has 20 years of experience in private equity, finance and operations roles.
Prior to Fusion, Matt spent 13 years in the Los Angeles office of Odyssey Investment Partners where he assessed and executed numerous investment opportunities across commercial and industrial markets. Prior to his time at Odyssey, Matt worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in their Investment Banking division.
Before entering the financial world, he worked at UPS in a hub facility not far from his childhood home, starting as a Package Handler and eventually working his way into operations management. Matt considers this a critical “ignition moment” that ultimately sparked his interest in business, process improvement and, eventually, private equity investing.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons and one daughter (with another daughter on the way). If there was free time left over, he would enjoy surfing, hitting one out of three golf balls perfectly, and relearning guitar.
